You might, meanwhile, check the top of the first page of the forum for the sticky about personal attacks. **Sam** , you too, while you’re at it, since you seem to be confused about the point. **DSY** , [this](http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A60619-2004Feb21.html) writeup makes it clearer than I have that your legal analysis, however careful or even correct, is still _irrelevant_. Not only that, the legal case isn’t airtight either, depending on an FEC ruling yet to be made about Mrs. Kerry being an “agent” of his campaign. It also underscores the point I am now bored with trying to get you to see, that such a decision would be made on a political rather than legal basis. Now can you please go back to the topic of the OP, and in the future avoid making flat statements such as about how he “can’t” get his wife’s money? You ought to know by now what trouble you can get into that way. Nice try, incidentally, demanding that this thread \*not \* go further into how Bush will try to win the election, despite it being the very title. It’s already been mentioned how he’ll try to paint Kerry as a tool of the special interests, and that isn’t even speculation, it being the subject of the first ad he’s run. You may not like where that discussion goes, but we’re about dispelling ignorance here even when it may prove painful. Now learn to cope. ---

I’d love to read that article, but I’m not a registered user of the Washington Post’s website, and won’t register for any site that requires I divulge such things as gender, occupation, and “primary responsibility” to use their site. I’ve seen the information from that article excerpted in another article; it didn’t read as much more than the same information produced by _USA Today_, but without the article, I can’t tell for sure. You haven’t done anything to “dispell ignorance” in any post of yours I’ve ever seen, so you’ll pardon me if I chuckle quietly about such a statement. A discussion of what the President will do to win the election is quite different from a debate about whether or not Mr. Kerry is more corrupt than Mr. Bush. Even _I_ can tell that difference.
