Someone reads his lips during a game after his third consecutive pick-six and sees the word “dammit”? I mean, I’m a lifelong Broncos fan, I despise Tebow as much as anybody, I think he’s utter shit as a long-term answer at quarterback… but I don’t see any scandal in his future. Other than continuing to suck at his job. ---

I don’t think it’ll happen either. Like others have said, probably the worst that will happen is that he won’t be a top-notch quarterback. But who knows, he’s pretty athletic and might make the grade after all. He has an arm like a gorilla, if he could aim it’d really be something. I get it that the guy is a bit of a religious nuisance, but they don’t exactly flag you in the NFL for violating [Matthew 6:6](http://bible.cc/matthew/6-6.htm). I probably would quit watching if they did. But as far as scandals go Tebow is prettty weak. He spouts off like everyone else with 1st amendment rights, he isn’t even trying to change public policy… meh. The guy hasn’t done anything so this kind of speculation is a little mean IMHO. ---

I don’t think he’ll have an off the field scandal as he seems to be the real deal from everything I’ve heard and seen. I don’t think he’ll last as an NFL QB, but there’s no shame in that; lots of great college players didn’t cut it in the NFL. In fact, as far as off then field issues, I can see him going Kirk Cameron more than Jimmy Swaggart. I think wacko fundy is a more likely outcome than scandal plagued fallen idol. ---

I’m not familiar with the fellow but googling him suggests he is very clean-cut. Hurrah for him. it may well be that he is what he purports to be. Other sportsmen with similar stature have shown themselves to fine people…Bobby Charlton, Sachin Tendulkar, Haile Gebrselassie, Roger Federer…etc. etc. etc. The list is long, there is nothing to suggest that he isn’t the real deal. Time will tell, but I’m also reminded of Hanse Cronje. Again someone with a very high sporting stature and a very carefully cultivated clean image…yet he was done for match fixing and died in disgrace. Nice to think that the sporting greats can be all-round fine people too. You never know. ---
