How will the Democrats respond if Trump wins?

That was Scott Walker’s idea.

So who is?

I wouldn’t want to be so presumptuously impolitic. The official purpose of what would come to be called The North Trump Wall would be to keep those sneaky Mexicans from circling around and coming in from Canada.

Although with a Trump presidency, I’m sure Canada would gladly pay for it, regarding it as a truly valid example of what Soviet-dominated East Germany euphemistically called the Berlin Antifaschistischer Schutzwall – the Anti-Fascist Protective Wall.

Beats me. I’d like to think Bernie would have gone for real solutions, but our political process dooms us to using duct tape to patch up the system instead of ever fixing the infrastructure.

Capitalists.

Definitely not them.

For sure the Democrats would not try and make The Donald a one term President.

Since they were justifiable outraged that Mitch McConnell (a republican) suggested such a thing to Obama I am sure they would not even consider it in return.

That wouldn’t be so bad if that were all. But what we’re going to get out of that is more and more economic neoliberalism, just like we’ve gotten under every single Admin since 1981, and America will continue its downward slide into Third-World economic stratification. Which is still better than what we’d get under Trump.

The difference is that McConnell had no good nonpartisan reason to make that a priority any higher than it always is to the party out of power, but everybody would have a good nonpartisan reason to make Trump a one-term-or-better-still-less-than-one-term POTUS.

“Will no one rid us of this troublesome Trump?” :dubious:

It will be even odds as to which party gets their articles of impeachment approved first.

This Dem will stock up on popcorn. It’'s gonna be hilarious!

FTR, while I often support the most entertaining candidate, I don’t always vote for him. Obama cracks me up, and gets my vote. Trump is differently entertaining, but no, just no.

What if Al Franken were running?

Snarkiest liberal politician? I’d be all over that! Too bad Tom Davis is too dead for the VP slot.
