We have a commercial airing in MI where a woman dressed in scrubs says, I became a nurse to help people, but that’s hard with the open boarder. Yeah, it gets even more dumb from there. ---

One “exciting and innovative” way they’ll demonize her is with crappy parody songs. If you’re gonna rework a song to mock someone, at least make it clever. I wasn’t quite sure where to put this, so here it is. Anyway, later today, January 6th, 2025, Kamala Harris will DEFINITELY have to concede the election to the Velveeta Voldemort. I don’t predict that the Democrats will stage another insurrection, but anything’s possible, I guess. The U.S. Capitol probably has security approximating that of Fort Knox right now. ---

Some of Harris’s campaign staff have said she was always trailing in internal polls. If this is true the only way to explain the prevent defense strategy that might help us sleep at night is that she played in conservative to avoid a blowout in the downballot races (I do remember after Biden’s debate there were reports of congressional and state candidates saying they couldn’t win with Biden at the top of the ballot). Of course it’s unfortunately also possible it was really due to pride, fear of embarrassment or possibly worse a thought that if Harris kept it close that her and people around the campaign could protect their future careers. The Denocrats going forward need to go on podcasts like rogan, and really the ability/confidence to go on podcasts without a script needs to be a prerequisite for running. In Harris’s case she probably realized if she went on more hostile podcasts people were going to ask if she covered up Biden’s mental decline, how he was able to run the country in his state etc. and there were no good answers to that especially with the longform format making it impossible to dodge and move on. The short campaign also meant she started the campaign without policy positions. Of course every campaign researches their positions before deciding on them but the timing broke any possible kayfabe that her campaign really was based on her honest views, which is what the public wants. ---
