(((Hugs))) This reminded me of Valentine’s Day, 1991 (can that really be 26 years ago? :eek: ). My husband was still on dialysis; he didn’t get the kidney transplant until the following August. I hired a women’s barbershop group called the Sweet Adelines to go to the dialysis place and sing to him while he was hooked up. They sang “Let Me Call You Sweetheart.” Talk about a captive audience! There were probably a dozen other patients there, along with the techs, and my husband’s nephrologist. To say the room went wild would be an understatement. 🙂 It was one of those Great Moments, ya know? ---

Got home from work. Exchanged Valentines Day cards. Ate leftovers for dinner. Went to parent-teacher conferences and learned about our son’s misdeeds. Go home. Son injures hand in a fit of rage. Go to hospital. Get home from hospital. Go to bed. ---

Had drinks and snacks at a reception hosted by the French Ambassador. No [Ferrero Rocher](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zs7gAxsfK5U) was in evidence. Did see two guys get knighted, though. Well, made [Chevaliers](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ordre_des_Arts_et_des_Lettres), same-same. Overall, a good time. ---

Took bus from work to library. Spent time on-line, took three books from the FREE shelf (Happy V-day!). Got McD’s coffee, walked home, had grilled cheese and tomato sammich and coffee yoghurt. TV, reading, hot tea and radio news, shower and bed. ---

Took the night off of work, when wife got home from daughter at dentist, told her to pack an overnight bag. Met #2 son’s 1st ever GF. Stopped at store for picnic lunch. Went to [B&B](http://astorhouse.com/) and had the place to ourselves. Came home this morning in time for her to get to work. ---
