If all the other planets were gone, The Vogons of the Galactic Hyperspace Planning Council would have something to do with it. I can’t understand why they would destroy Earth when Jupiter is blocking far more of their development. It’s gravity would certainly restrict passing vessels more than the earth’s.
If there were no other planets, where would we go when we needed to escape Earth?
