It’s a pity Michael Clarke Duncan is dead, as he could have rocked as the new Darth Vader. Possibly as voice _and_ body actor. [Peter Crouch](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Crouch) as Chewbacca. 🙂 ---

Christopher Lee would be my first choice from those on [this list](http://www.imdb.com/list/hTg_Kpahn78/), but he would actually be good for a number of the bad guys or even Obi Wan. ---

Alan Rickman could do a good, if very different Darth Vader. I would also like to see three unknowns or barely-knowns for the main trio. If Rickman’s out for Vader he could do a good Tarquin. ---

Peter Capaldi as Tarkin. And why not spice up the lines just a little bit. Sean Bean as Obi-Wan. He’s just going to get killed anyway. Idris Elba as Han Solo. Who’s cooler than that? Alan Rickman is better saved for ROTJ to step into the Emperor’s shoes. Probably too old now, but Topher Grace might still make a good Luke. ---

How about an anti-cast? Michael Cera as Han Solo. Channing Tatum as Luke Skywalker Miley Cyrus as Princess Leia Mike Myers as Obi Wan Kenobi ---
