Hmm. Underwear for all please. Shoes optional outside, although I respect the parents rules there. I might have a chat with the parents when everyone is healthy again, just to make sure everyone was ok. Someone mentioned up thread that kids by 9 start wanting to cover up. Yes, all kids are different, etc, etc. taking that as given, one common symptom of autism spectrum is discomfort with clothing. (No, I’m not over-reacting, why do you ask?) Otherwise, my (Anne’s) discomfort with family lifestyle is gonna be sucked up and ignored. Assuming she wants to keep seeing the grandkids. ---

The children are being socialized into weirdos. Like it or not, poor socialization does have consequences, and these children are oblivious to them. It could be harmless, but it could also lead to a life time of poor social development. Just imagine if one of the children told another child in school what they do at home and that child tells everyone else. That’s the kind of behavior that leaves you without friends through grade school. ---

When I visited Australia, where women frequently wore no tops at beaches, I noticed that we visiting Americans were easy to spot: we were the ones drooling and staring. If they suffer from desensitization, I haven’t heard about it and it certainly wasn’t evident. It might be most evident at later ages, when arousal takes more stimulation. Back to the OP. I think it’s weird based common standards, but I’m not all that afraid of weird. I don’t think it’s unhealthy. I think the American fuss over nudity is far less healthy. That said, I sure do like seeing naked pretty women, and I’m glad I don’t have to see naked men very often. Silly me. ---

Read about a young married couple on a long sail trip across big water. Small boat, just the two & were standing 12 on 12 off watches. Hot, both were nude constantly. Wife asked why no sex when they were having an easy day or two and were both awake. He didn’t know, just not in the mood. She thought about it for a bit, went below and put on panties & a bra. 30 minutes later they were competition for wild weasels… True story AFAIK. Kinda works that way for me also. ---
