I personally voted for Author/Writer. I figure Steven King and J.K. Rowling aren’t doing badly, famous but still have a private life - and can work whenever the muse strikes them. They can work from home, or on a beach in Tahiti - sleep in, work all night, or in their case - do absolutely nothing for as long as they wish. ---

Author / writer for me too. Granted I’m rich and famous as a result thereof, but being an author is pretty much the best shot of still being famous in a thousand years. ---

I wouldn’t necessarily like to be famous and rich, mainly because I don’t want to be famous. I’m financially comfortable, so the promise of riches wouldn’t really draw me toward fame. But if I was, I’d like to have gotten that way by being a movie producer. If I had my career to do over again I’d go that route, but in my mid-40’s it just ain’t happening, notwithstanding my desire. ---

I was torn between author and artist. I chose author since I don’t think I could do all the gallery openings and all that self-promotion getting your name out there crap. It seems like writing is a good way to earn the bucks while staying private enough to enjoy them. ---

I’d prefer stage actress, but movie actress is close enough. Opportunities to travel to exotic locales, lots of insurance and safety precautions, and I truly do love acting. Plus, as a movie star, I can do some stage work if I want and be a box office draw because of my name on the marquis. ---

I voted athlete. When I was six, I wrote that I wanted to be a boxing’s heavyweight champion. Well, I’ve got the heavyweight part nailed, now onto other bit. I there’s sports I don’t even care for, like golf or tennis, that I’d gladly be a rich and famous (so presumably very successful) star of them. ---

I’d love to be a rich and famous athlete you fame only lasts as long as your career if you want it to or you can take it and run with it any way you want. John Elway is a great example of a rich and famous athlete that has made much more money unrelated to sports then he ever did as a player. Not to mention if you pick the correct sport you can have a great base for a long and healthy life if you maintain some of that level of fitness. If your good enough you wont even have to pay for any of your same sex children’s college and possibly nieces and nephews as well. ---

I selected ‘author’ because I am already a writer. In all honesty though, I don’t consider the wealth worth the fame part of the picture. How about just “relatively well off” and “publishes under a pseudonym”. Fame? Blech. ---

I don’t want to be famous, either - too much hassle. I’d choose getting rich by being a producer or something; a behind-the-scenes player. ---
