::not sure I want to step in this mess:: **djf750** The purpose of online message boards, normally, is to communicate - thoughts, ideas, issues, messages etc. Things that aid communication= good. things that make communication less efficient, more difficult etc = bad. I’ve had this discussion with a number of posters, sometimes they listen, sometimes they don’t. It’s simply up to them. Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and capitalization all aid in communication. One thing you may not have considered : Things like puncutation and proper capitalization help those of us on the other side of the screen with poor eyesight. When I see posts all in caps or all in lower case, I may try to read them, but, frankly the strain on my eyesight often is too much. ( I have very poor eyesight, my browser window is set at the highest typeface and I still often have difficulty with reading some things - proper capitalization etc is a great assistance for me) Now, you may not care that some folks will choose to not read your posts because of that, so be it. But, if you’re not caring that you’re using methods designed to lessen the effect of your communication, one begins to wonder why you’d bother posting in the first place. ---
