If we perfected virtual reality, so you could experience any reality of your choosing (laws of physics bend as far as you want), along with immortality, how would you spend eternity? You have complete omnipotent power in the virtual reality. You can do whatever you want for however long you want because you have eternity. If you want to go back in time and live through historical moments, you can do it. If you want to roam the universe and interact with advanced alien civilizations, you can do it. Nothing is off limits. ---

Geez, what wouldn’t I do? Having sex with a multitude of hot sexy rock musicians is very high on my list. Can I eat anything I want without weight gain? If so, that would be on the list too. ---

Just as with my reading, I’d go for a variety of dramatic tones and genres. I’d use part of my time for actual education, taking “virtual college courses.” I’d spend part of my time on porn, but that gets boring. After that… Napoleonic-era sea warfare: “Horatio Hornblower” adventures. Superhero adventures. Space and Sci-Fi adventures. Sherlock Holmes mysteries, and lots of other varieties of mysteries. Exploring the world’s beauty: virtual tourism. I’d take virtual boat trips up the Yangtse and the Nile and the Amazon. More porn… Back to education: I’d like to take virtual tours of museums and art galleries, possibly with docents and guides to explain. Did I mention porn? All in all, it would pretty closely parallel what I do with the internet, nowadays. ---

Called [InWorldz](https://inworldz.com/). In addition to the usual partying and dancing and going to various events (concerts, charity fundraisers, art exhibits etc.), and changing my appearance including collecting clothes and accessories (some purchased, some I make myself), I create art and gadgets (I’ve even made some RL money selling my creations), I go boating, exploring, build myself new places to live (I have a fondness for floating islands and castles), help out people who are new to virtual worlds, and lots of other things I can’t think of right now. I don’t actually have a head mounted device yet, so I’m doing all this on a regular monitor. But when the content is so immersive, the flat monitor disappears. ---

I would probably be that one freakazoid who didn’t use it. I still write letters, prefer reading physical books, and don’t own or play any computer or video games. I don’t think the whole VR thing would draw me in. ---
