# Howcome?

## On the TV news, this evening, I saw Seattle’s King Dome being “imploded”. No one explained why. Do you know?

Cockroach infestation.

Don’t believe any of the rumors about the Mariners wanting a baseball only field (read, Camden Yards, Coors Field, etc.) or the Seahawks needing more skyboxes (read, Raven Stadium, Joe Robby Statium, etc), about the degenerative effects of Astroturf (Turf toe, Philly foot, etc) or the ransoming of professional sports franchises to city coucils with inferiority complexes (“We can’t lose our football team! Even Indianapolis has a football team!”) or tourism/convention draws.

It was just cockroaches.
