Franz Ferdninand’s “Take Me On” has been stuck in my melon. I hate that song. Well, not HATE. But it is definitely unwanted. I’ve been actively trying to replace it with the very beginning to “Final Countdown” or something more annoying to hum/whistle/sing to people around me. ---

Amy Grant’s _Maybe Baby_ has been driving my nuts for days. Not just because of the song, but also because I had no idea how it had become stuck in my head. Then I realized that my wife had bought [this book](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/0060737816/ref=dp_image_text_0/103-5737364-7520634?%5Fencoding=UTF8&n=283155&s=books) a few days ago, and left it lying on the night stand. I attribute all inexplicable earworms to muzak. It’s insidious stuff. You don’t even notice it when it’s playing, and then you spend the next three days wondering why you can’t get Shadow Dancing out of your head. ---

I’ve had Secret Agent Man stuck in my head for three days. Finally realized the radio (set to a low key AM station) we have on very low in the backround at work plays it all the time on their morning show. What’s worse is I don’t know the words (or tune) to it, so I just keep hearing “Secret Agent Man…Secret Agent Man…Secret Agent Man…” ---
