Worked a double, since Assistant’s dad is in hospital. Saw all the Mumpers and hockey Peeps hit by the Nor’easter. Hockey Lady:) stuck at work, too. : uses voodoo doll to kill Teh Ebil affecting people in my life : **Apes** , I: A. tried to fry fish, and got multiple burns on my arm B. 6 days later, yanked a pizza pan out from under the pizza in the oven, burning the same arm C. Ate salads and PB&Js for a week afterwards. One of us! One of us!😃 Sticks, that looks like how I look after work. Pale and sparkly(did I mention that _somebody_ is a Twilight fan?:D) ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis a chilly 37 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of \ 69! \ SIL was restin’ heavily sedated at last report. She will remain so for a couple of days to help reduce swelling after the surgery. The tumor has been sent to pathology so I guess we’ll hear about that sometime today. The surgeon does not believe it to be malignant so I take that as a good sign. Actually **doggio** is covered in glitter because he’s secretly a pole dancer. 😛 **Soapy** hope you get power soonest. All others in the storm, hope it’s gone soon and no ick stuff happens. Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Yay for **Soapy** power! The original plan was to go to water aerobics this morning. However, I woke up with a stiff and sore neck this morning. I took something for it and it’s a bit better, but not enough that I want to spent 45 minutes in the pool jumping and flailing my arms. Therefore, it’s going to be a homework and forks kind of day. ---

Blerf! Double Blerf!! sah-kid has his mock interview today at school, a requirement for graduation he has to wear his suit to school he woke me up at 5am to tell me he can find only one of his dress socks I mumbled something about they should be together and go ask his grandmother if he can borrow a pair of her SO’s dress I’m drifting off and sah-dog is awake and doing the to nail tap dance next to the bed so I call sah-kid on the phone to tell him YOU WOKE THE DOG UP - YOU PUT HIM OUT Try to go back to sleep but now I need to pee but I can’t get up because my bil is in the bathroom, and as I’m laying there with my teeth starting to float he turn on the shower sah-kid brings back sah-dog who won’t lay down and stop with the click click click until I give him his treat finally bil gets out of shower and get in and go lay back down sah-kid comes bursting in a tizzy because it seems he has outgrown his suit and he hands me some sharp piece of staple type thingie that came off when he tried to fasten the pants he says he will make do the best he can and then reminds me he wants a ride to school because he doesn’t want to walk in the suit ok I got 45 minutes except then I remember he needs ‘re Fer ences’ for resume, so I get up and write down the information so he can add it to his resume he calls them re FER ences, no matter how many times I correct him (then again he is the same kid who thought cosmetology was the study of the cosmos, good thing he signed up for drafting instead of that) so I get up, write up all this stuff, drive him to school and the damn rode is closed so I to drive all the way around to go in a different way I get home, have an hour and a half to sleep, just start to drift and the phone rings I feel like hell I overslept and logged in late and now I have to go pick him up from school so he can come home and change because he doesn’t want to wear the suit all day and I’m already late it’s only 9:30 and I already feel like I’ve been rode hard and put away wet [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/hows-this-for-a-mmp/639944.md?page=10) [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/hows-this-for-a-mmp/639944.md?page=12)
