An infinitely colored LED lighting system controlled by your iPhone/iPad (not sure if it’s on Android yet) for your place.

Kind of expensive, but I love the idea and implementation as color/ambience in lighting adds so much to the mood of your home. I think I might actually buy the starter kit ($200). Then $60 per extra bulb.

If it turns out to be a successful product, I’m assuming Android won’t be far behind. Unless Apple’s got some exclusive contract with Phillips or something.

Love the idea for having a bulb flash a color to notify you of an incoming txt message, email, or cell call. How great would it be to assign different colors to different people?

If anyone’s interested in LIFX, there’s a tiny bit of churn after yesterday’s iOS announcement. I was able to up my contribution level due to someone backing out, so there are still a few opportunities to get in on the ground floor.
