Here’s my rating from [Ratebeer](https://www.ratebeer.com/user/4000/beer-ratings/). It’s #1485 for me. Ratings are out of 5. * * * \*Pours a _slightly_ darker straw color. Aroma is very grassy, very grainy. Looks very effervescent with a zillion bubbles floating up from the nucleation points. It did turn out to be quite over carbonated. \* \*Some watery lacing on the glass. A light head does stay the duration to it’s credit. \* _Some light hints of maltiness in in the aftertaste. But almost no hops or other bitter aftertaste. Very watery mouthfeel. 4.2%abv is chicken shit and $13.99 for a twelve pack is insane._ _Overall not horrible for a light beer (110 calories) but not particularly good either. If this is what passes for “REAL AMERICAN BEER” nowadays we are doomed._ _Prediction: This will not stay on the market long._ _Can._ * * * A 12 pack of Miller Lite goes for $9.99 on sale around here. This stuff is ridiculously over priced for what it is. ---

1485 out of 5? Besides the fact that that’s awfully specific, it seems that the beer is either unbelievably good or unbelievably bad. ---

It looks like this is a new release. On Untappd it has just over 1000 ratings and all in the last month. The average score being 3.37 out of 5. You don’t have to write a comment to leave a score on Untappd. Those that left comments seem divided into two camps - beer fans who scored it low, and Hulk Hogan fans that scored it high. A question for @pkbites - On Ratebeer do you have to write a review to leave a score? Can you “check in” beers without leaving a score or review just to serve as a reminder to yourself? ---

It’s more than Miller Lite which is a mainstream premium priced brew and even that is overpriced for what it is. Need I remind you that I am in Wisconsin. Liquor and beer tax is among the lowest in the country. So if they’re charging $13.99 for it here I shudder to think what those in the cheeseless 49 are paying. ---

My sister gave me a twelver of some stuff I think I’ve already had but neglected to rate. Going to try it this morning. “Serve as a reminder to yourself” is exactly what I use RB for. If I come across a brew I don’t remember if I’ve had I check RB and I know if I’ve had it and how I liked it. Keeps me from repeating the same mistake twice. ---

My body clock thinks it’s 10pm. Rate Beer did not require any comments. I eventually left some but it isn’t required. Never tested that before after 22 years. ---

I tend to agree. Though an ice cold Yuengling Lite on a hot day isn’t terrible, I would far rather have a Yuengling or better yet a Yuengling Porter. ---

Thanks for checking that out @pkbites. I’ve been on Untappd for 11 years and have 5530 unique check-ins there so won’t be switching to RB anytime soon. I’m glad American lite beers haven’t made it to the UK, except Coors Light which is brewed here. I used to live in the US so know your pain. The problem we have here are mass produced lagers pretending to be continental but actually brewed here at a lower ABV than in their home countries. The latest example is Madri Excepional which pretends to be from Madrid, Spain but is actually brewed in Yorkshire. ---
