An earlier thread mentioned that John Lennon came up with the line “I am the Egg Man, coo-coo, ca-chew,” (with some artistic interpretation) from “Finnegan’s Wake,” because that’s what Humpty Dumpty said when he fell. Not having read “Finnegan’s Wake,” if such a thing is possible, my question is: Why did HD say “Goo Goo Goosh?” ---
