given the success of Game of Thrones, will we see more TV series anchored by the world building rather than a regular cast? i must say it is rather refreshing to watch a series that does not shy away from devoting time to characters they intend to kill off; with no regular cast or at least not ones the viewers could be sure of.

has there been a series like this on TV, incorporating the “reality tv” style of elimination in the fiction? would you like the format?

A good example is the BBC series Spooks (also called MI-5). It ran for 10 seasons and was not at all shy about keeping the cast as fluid as one would expect in a deadly job.
