Oh, so his name was actually Peeta. For some reason I thought folks just kept slipping into an accent trying to say Peter. And that it got worse when the actress playing Katniss had to shout his name. That is all… ---

Presumably those districts have some system in place to deal with mulitiple boys and girls volunteering to go to the Games that year. ---

I feel compelled to make this dumb comment - so here goes - Shirley Jackson’s short story “The Lottery” is much more powerful than these books.
