# Hunter S. Thompson - how much is real?

His family sure didn’t sound surprised, and neither did some close friends of his. I thought it was a shame, but given his health problems and the way he lived his life I can’t see it as much of a surprise. In retrospect I guess these things rarely look like surprises.
