Last week I was in Los Angeles and managed to catch my first game at Dodger Stadium. I was delighted to find that their new infielder was [Chin-lung Hu.](http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/team/player.jsp?player_id=464341) Hu got a couple of singles and a walk. At one point the woman sitting next to me went to the concession stand, and missed some of the action. When she came back and asked what had happened, it made my night to be able to tell her “Hu’s on first.” 😃 Please please tell me that, somewhere in their minor league system, the Dodgers have infielders named Watt and Idanow who might eventually make the team. ---

The right fielder is not named in the [routine](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who%27s_On_First). Since Today is catching while Tomorrow pitches, however, the right fielder could have been [Monday](http://www.baseball-reference.com/m/mondari01.shtml) had Rick somehow made it to the majors about a decade before he was born. ---

I was in town at a game a week and a half ago, and had fun giggling to myself about this. I was disappointed though, that he is NOT a first baseman. Yeah, yeah, a million people have already made that joke. Oh well! ---

In undergrad, I took physics from Doctor Hu. He looked like a Chinese guy with glasses this time. ---
