# Hybrids in HOV lanes, was this thought out?

Allowing Motorcycles in the HOV lane is a federal law. Virginia was one of the last hold outs to allow motorcycles in the HOV lanes. The HOV on I-270 in DC doesn’t much work any more, you never see anyone get pulled over for it so it’s just as jammed as the rest of the road.

Same in Florida, but it’s only one highly visible and extremely ugly decal for the rear bumper.
