Sometime in the far future The Powers That Be decide to quit the message board bidness…but decide to keep the rights to the name “The Straight Dope” and the tagline “FIGHTING IGNORANCE SINCE 1973 (IT’S TAKING LONGER THAN WE THOUGHT)”. Fortunately, a new sponsor has been found, the mods have decided to stay on, and the rules will pretty much stay the same…but we need a new name and a new tagline.  
What have you got?

I just drunkenly resurrected that thread. Consensus was that would be the new tag line.
