Brazil84, I asked if you had ever changed the opinion of others based on your facts. You said you had and you referred me to a thread about taming zebras. No evidence that anyone changed their minds in that thread. You have now distracted this thread in a new direction. Everyone has to explain to you that you did not change any opinions. Do you recognize that you are tweaking the direction of this thread to protect yourself? When someone lays it out for you asking, “Did he, or did he not, do that? A simple yes or no will suffice.” you admit that he did not but then you deflect by saying that they evaded your question. Once again, have you ever changed an opinion based on facts you have presented? ---

Wow you really are a bunch of fucking morons. I see nothing wrong with what Brazil has posted. He’s asked for cites about claims made against him, and no one has said anything except saying he is a blowhard with no life… for making a threa? Look at yourselves. Can anyone actually show quotes where Brazil is lieing, or is he/she right in that it’s not true and you people are actually just talking shit? (I beg you, please don’t reply to this with the same garbage that has filled this thread. Can someone try and be onjective in their response? Is Brazil a liar? and second question, has everyone in this thread just been assholes?) ---

I would summarize things so far as follows: First, **What Exit** seems to admit now (as far as I can tell) that “technically” I did not misquote him. He does point out (correctly) that my paraphrase of a claim he made omitted a qualifier. However, he does not deny (as far as I can tell) that I responded to the qualifier, as opposed to simply pretending it was not there. So it’s hard to see what the point is, except that perhaps he was acting in good faith when he accused me of misquoting him. I have conceded this possibility. Second, I also challenged **What Exit** (or anyone else) to QUOTE the misinformation I was supposedly posting or promoting in the Al Gore thread before he made his accusation. This challenge has not been met as of yet. Again, as far as I can tell. That’s about it, as far as the main thrust of the thread goes. A quasi-debate seems to be emerging over whether I have actually convinced anyone to change their mind. ---
