Now I’ve had Gary Sandy of “WKRP in Cincinnati”, and Isaiah Washington of the as customers, but tonight I almost whacked into Scott Hamilton with a big bag of cinnamon rolls. I did the night deposit drop and as I turned around decided at the last minute to go down a different set of escalators. I spun around, and my bag nearly smacked into him. And I had a question I’ve always wanted to ask him…but I’m too polite to bother people when they’re just trying to get back to their hotel. Oh well…it was mundane and pointless anyhow! ---

Oh, it’s soooooo pointless. I am considering whether to drive you crazy all night, or bore you to tears now. ::think, think, think:: Okay, prepare to sob. About 28 years ago I met Scott Hamilton at the Kent State University Ice Arena where he was doing a skating demonstration during Lil’ Sis Weekend. My sister’s skating instructor was sitting with us and flirting with Scott while he was skating. She told us to remember his name because he’d be famous. My sister does not remember this incident, so I want to ask Scott if he remembers being at Kent then, and what was his friend (the skating instructor’s) name…I took classes from her the next year when I went to Kent. See? Not worth a sleepless night! ---

Scott Hamilton, Gregarious and short skater that had some form of cancer. I believe testicular cancer. He retired this last year or so. Put a lot of skating shows together. Seems like a nice guy. Not to drop skating names or anything I went to high school with Caren Kadavy and Jill Trenery. If I had a scanner I would prove it to you. 😉 ---

I was having dinner a gay guy who has a huge crush on a major (straight) celebrity, and walked into a men’s room when said person was using it. He didn’t do anything, but I still tease him about it. ---
