I wonder when we’ll hear from those who were chiding Kerry for his poor gun safety? I recall some thread where the primary issue was one photo of Kerry which may have shown a portion of the end of the barrel of his gun, and may have suggested that the gun was not 100% pointed down-range. At least he didn’t shoot anyone. ---

I’ll admit that I find myself mildly amused by Cheney’s involvement in something like this, but I question whether it’s pitworthy. Rather than make any further assumptions, though, I’ll be perfectly naive and ask: why the pit? ---

Truth be told hunting quail is a situation where the hunters typically follow their quarry with their sights and then fire, that’s why when you’re out hunting you should make sure that if anyone is with you that none of you are possibly in the line of fire of anyone else. Cheney was being an unsafe hunter, but so was Whittington and the hunting party in general from what I’ve read.
