I remember thinking the same thing the last time CM had him on. ---

How is this a non-story? The Vice President of the United States shot an old man in the face. That’s a STORY. If this had been a John Kerry or Hillary I doubt any Republicans would be pooh poohing it or calling it a non-story. ---

The way I see it, the Administration has committed about five bajillion wrongs, ranging from the mammoth (Iraq War) to the teeny (nukular). I don’t give a shit about things that fall in the bottom quartile. Cheney shooting a guy in the face by accident? Shit, he could have dug up Mother Teresa, violated her corpse, and shot a leper in the face and it’d still be in the bottom quartile. Let’s keep focused on the big sins of the administration. Some Sentor gets out of line in the Senate, and Cheney shoots him in the face. Or some reporter tries to pin him down on issues in Iraq… blam! in the face. The reason this is a non-story is that no one will talk about this after next week, except maybe in comedy skits.
