First name: Craig = dweller in the crag middle name: Allan = handsome (ROFL!) Oddly, Cameron came in second for a first name, and it means “bent nose.” Why in the world did they feel it necessary to have a name meaning that. OK, so my nose is bent…but so am I. 😃 ---

Wow. The name site quoted by **thinksnow** lists the meaning of my name as “manly”. Most books and sites say it means “feminine” or “song of joy”. Apparently, my middle name means “Goddess of Canoe-Makers”. I can’t say I’ve heard that before… that was from [this site](http://www.zelo.com/firstnames/find.asp). **Thinksnow’s** site says it means “weary”. Babynamer says the meaning has been lost. It could also mean “Maiden”, “Ruler”, or “From the Meadow of Favoured Grace”. Take your pick. ---

Hmmm…My first name, Megan, means “A Pearl” or “Great”. My middle name, Marie, means “A sea of bitterness” or “bitter”. And my last name, Duran, means “during” or “lasting”. So I guess my name is something like a great sea of lasting bitterness or a bitter lasting pearl (or something to that effect). Thanks, Mom and Dad! :rolleyes: ---

Well, according to [babynames.com](http://babynames.com), Jesse means “God exists” in Hebrew. I guess I’d better carefully consider what topics I do research on in the future, lest I accidentally discover the person who wrote the computer simulation that we’re in, or some old guy playing Skee-Ball by the waterfront in New Jersey. This seems somewhat odd, though, as most other sources give the meaning as simply “wealthy”. ---
