[I Wanna Be The Guy](http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/) is a very, very hard freeware game based off of unfairly hard old 8-bit games (and indeed, many of the sprites and all of the music were directly lifted). Over 5 people have beaten impossible mode. It is a testament to this game’s difficult that, after 1 year, me watching 3 people beat it all the way through (and reading one), restarting once or twice, losing all my files on my old laptop, starting a Very Hard (hard, since Hard is medium) run and an All Items run, downloading the most well-made fangame to date, _beating_ the most well-made fangame to date…I have finally beaten it for the first time. And it is as awesome as I had imagined it. ---

Eh, impossible to evaluate… crashed on the load screen a couple of times for me, and then crashed five minutes into the gameplay. I’m afraid I don’t have the patience. ---

Congratulations. That’s very impressive. So far I have only managed to beat Tyson and Mecha Birdo - for some reason I can’t complete the spike chamber in the Castlevania level. I really like IWBTG - it is one of the very few games where you actually feel that you not only play a game, but the game itself is your opponent. ---
