Well, I am kinda running one. See, in addition to my other duties, I act as answering service to the hospital’s home health service. They have an 800# which is one digit away from an apparently well-known sex hotline for men. Apparently, the sex line deals mainly with men wanting to speak with black women–some of them ask if it’s the “Dark Lady hotline” when they call. So, several times a night, I get calls asking me what I’m wearing and if we have any “busty gals”. I guess the fact that I answer the phone with the name of the hospital doesn’t actually register with them. Most of them hang up when you emphasize that they have reached a hospital but others think they’ve stumbled into some nurse fetish hotline and just go with it. It’s not as much fun as you’d suspect. ---
