# I am seeking geeky fuzzy slippers

Winter is cold, and my toes want fuzzy slippers.
I could just go to Target and buy bunny slippers, but I have an urge to buy slippers that will be a bit out of the ordinary, slippers that let my Inner Geek out to play.

Has anyone out there in Doperland found anything else that might keep my toes warm while causing my friends to stare in stunned envy at my feet?

My son (13) got Homer Simpson and my daughter (15) got Sponge Bob. The Homer slippers are kind of cool cause they look like he’s swallowed your foot. Either that or he’s puking up your leg.

You can get 2 of [these](http://www.toymania.com/news/messages/4902.shtml) and wrap them around your feet. Or just buy one and wear it as a hat. People _will_ stare. In envy? In awe? In horror?

I once gave my sister some battery-powered dinosaur slippers that made crashing noises when she walked…they looked kiind of like [these,](http://www.conceptsofthemall.southcom.com.au/slippersdinosaurs.jpg) only bulkier and uglier, with black spots.

My brother has those, they’re awesome. Plus you can walk around in them going ‘Freudian SLIPpers, geddit? Geddit? Like a Freudian slip, see, but they’re SLIPPERS!’
(It’s not compulsary to behave like that though)

We got my son the killer rabbit slippers. They are HUGE so they’re warm.
Plus, when he props his feet on the chair rail, the mouths fall open.

**FisherQueen** , go with the cuddly cthulhu slippers. The are absolutely adorable. I recently bought 2 cthulhu plush toys (by Toy Vault who also makes the slippers) as Christmas gifts. Everyone thought the cthulhu medium size and mini secret agent [plush](http://toyvault.com/cthulhu/index.html) dolls were terribly cute. I get the feeling that the little guys don’t appreciate the sentiment though. 😛 Good luck with your slipper shopping!

What the hell ARE those things?? I have never heard of any of them. Some of them are downright creepy…
