Of course, astorian. Please forgive my curt reply. And, FisherQueen, I would think that not being able to tell the difference wouldn’t necessarily reflect on the visitors as it would their experience with some Christians. ---

No, FisherQueen. I’ll say what’s been said again. What it means is that we have, in the real world, met and heard many people who call themselves Christians, espousing ideas not very different from those at Landover Baptist. Whole churches full of them. Whole denominations full of them. ---

Real-world Christians do not act anything like what is portrayed in Landover Baptist. Which is something that I don’t think anyone in this thread has argued against.[sup]\*[/sup] [sub][sup]\*[/sup]A good thing. ---

It took me a while to work out that it was satire. And to those that say it’s easy to tell the difference; you need to look at [http://www.godhatesfags.com](http://www.godhatesfags.com) - that’s anything but satire, sadly. ---

The part that clued me to satire was the Superintendent’s name… Butch Strongman. It struck me as odd :). ---
