You must be their best customer if they call you in advance to let you know what they’re out of”. But the conservatives seem to be waaaaaay more vocal on the radio, with the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity and those guys sure do sling the shit. I really couldn’t say about the “general public”. I have a lot of conservative friends, but we don’t talk politics much. Politicians… I find myself more aligned with Democrats than Republicans these days, and while the Democrats have a few firebrands, I would say the Republicans have a lot more people focusing on negativity and on demonizing the other side. They also tend to be more disciplined, IMO, on toeing the party line than the Democrats are. What I find more disturbing about the Republicans is the substance of what the likes of the Palins, Bachmanns and the Santorums rather than the tone. The tone is bad, but words are only words. When you’re pushing bad policies, you’re doing a lot more damage. ---

When you’re pushing bad policies, you’re doing a lot more damage. You have to give Rush some credit. He does come up with some interesting ways of insulting lefties. Feminazis is a good term. Wrong but pretty inventive. He has others but I have not heard his show in a few years. I don’t have enough discipline to not break radios. ---
