I am so happy to hear that the weekend went well!  
I know that the whole ‘blended family’ thing can be a drag at times. I hope that aside from this incident, you have a good relationship with them.

I’m also glad things with your hubby are okay- I was put on edge by his reaction to the whole thing, but it seems like he made the best of a messued up situation.
