Had the MRI/A with contrast yesterday and had the Zio patch put on. The MRI came back showing only light plaque in the carotids, which is good news. Have to wear the Zio for 2 weeks. Awkward to shower, but it’s unobtrusive. My GP has recommended doubling up on my statin med, so I’ll likely do that. ---

Had the echocardiogram last Wednesday. Came back with no problems. Now I’m waiting on the results from the Zio patch, which will tell me if there is any a-fib. ---
