I bet I’m the only person who enjoys eating Skittles with coffee. There is a method: 1. Take two or three Skittles (any color) and place in mouth 2. Chew just a little bit to release the juices and flavor 3. Take swig of coffee w/cream Sounds nasty but I actually quite like it. ---

_Ultimate Big Brother,_ currently showing on Channel 4 (UK). There is absolutely no point in starting a thread about a lowbrow/trashy British show on this board. At least with the US equivalents, the sheer number of Americans here will guarantee at least some interest. ---

I seem to remember us crossing paths before because of shared interests along these lines actually! You’d know what my username means, I’m sure. 🙂 Reading about dhrupad makes me want to go school to be an ethnomusicologist, but only study Indian classical music. But then I remember that even Western music theory is over my head and too mathy for me. And that I need to eat. 😉 Is your thesis available anywhere? I’m sure I won’t begin to understand it but it’s hard to find much about it online. Some of the Senior Dagar stuff I’ve heard is vaguely unsettling in a “calling forth ancient powers” sort of way–I’m half afraid the _alap_ is calling forth Cthulu or something! (Okay not really. But sort of.) I want to run away and learn to play the rudra veena too, but that’s another story. ---

I like (or at least don’t hate) Vanilla Wafers with yellow mustard. The wafers look like little hamburger buns, and when I was a kid I’d put mustard between two of them to create a little pretend burger. Edible, although I haven’t eaten one in a couple decades.
