I know that there are a couple of others out there, but I like my oatmeal savory and will mix any or all of the following into it: Eggs, salsa, parmesan, veggie burgers, mushrooms, onions, white wine, garlic, curry powder, Sriracha, veggie broth, Laughing Cow Cheese… ---

I’m almost positive that I’m the only one here who is really into the band 311. (Doesn’t count if you like a few songs/have an album or 2.) I’m one of the very few Howard Stern fans here, but I know there are about ~5 others. I might be the only one whose favorite Indiana Jones movie is Temple of Doom. My favorite Founding Father is James Madison. I’m into a lot of things that probably very few people here like, but I doubt _no one_ else is into them; Philip Glass, Jorge Luis Borges, Gwar, target archery, horehound (candy), unicycling, minimalist running, playing the harmonica, Usagi Yojimbo, Don DeLillo, etc etc etc. My tastes are extremely broad and often bizarre, but I don’t think they’re _quite_ bizarre enough to fall completely outside the range of the membership here very often. I’m sure there are some comics/manga I’ve read (and enjoyed) that no one else here has, but who knows which ones, or cares, really. ---

I like “Midnight at the Oasis” too **oliversarmy**. It’s a very cool song. (Other than my husband) I’ll bet I’m the only Doper to have met Kate Bush. (Other than my husband) I’ll bet I’m the only Doper to have seen Kate Bush sing live (not in concert though). (Other than my husband) I’ll hesitantly bet I’m the only Doper to have seen Tori Amos in a tiny, really tiny, club playing to less than 100 people before she got famous. I may be the only Doper (certainly the only male in my neck of the woods) who loathes: American football MMA Sports bars Beer Buffalo wings (and chicken wings in general; you’re paying for mostly flavored bones) Yes, in fact, my manhood does get called into question from time to time. ---

Rather than deal with all kinds of quoting, let me just say I am with you on: the smell of gasoline Howard Stern (although I don’t have Sirius, I am still a fan). Manowar (assuming you mean the fantasy-flavored Metal band and not the poisonous jelly fish relative). Silverhawks (unless there was some lost episode I know nothing about) and several other things others have already supported. I also wanted to add how great it is to know I am not alone in my Sub sandwich preference. I honestly thought it was just me. Something about how the oil and vinegar congeals just makes it taste better. ---

I really prefer stale Cheetos (both the curls and the puffs), and, no, not simply because I find them after a week between the keyboard and the CPU because the light in my Mom’s basement is so dim. And to the musk-lovers: I’m talking eye-watering musk. ---

I also prefer the subs that sit in the fridge. Heck, I eat a lot of cold food. Does anyone else like mayonnaise enough to make a sandwich out of it? Though, ttick some black olives on it, and it’s perfect. I also bet I’m the only person in a lot of places that liked the Lost in Space movie. ---
