If it’s pewter, remember to not keep alcohol in it for long periods. Plastic, glass and stainless steel, ok. Pewter, no. Bad tastes abound if you do. ---

I go to a convention each year where one of the attendees makes a concoction called Death Rum (mix of many things, comes out at 106 proof I believe). He spends the whole time with a hip flask containing this miracle elixer…everytime I hear about a hip flask I think of him and that wonderful stuff. ::sigh:: ---

My late father’s Purdue football tickets were in front of a guy who had a flask made to resemble a pair of binoculars. Dad would hear him say, “Let’s have a beverage,” and turn to see him pouring another shot out of his binocs. ---

Yeah, one of my dad’s friends (who we occationslly call binocular man) has a pair of those. Awesome things.
