You know, I thought this entire thing by McCain was a publicity stunt. I still believe that and I’m losing what little respect I held for the Senator from years gone by. That said, I sincerely really truly hope that the agreement reached by the bailout was because all sides agreed that it was a good idea to do this and it’s a well put together piece of legislation. Because if the Democrats rushed through this and gave away $700 billion dollars to score a cheap political trick of their own…I will be sorely disappointed. ---

Maybe this will give him an excuse for losing the debate tomorrow. He was so busy running around telling everyone how he was going to rescue the country that he couldn’t study. It’s like Batman swinging down to catch the bad guys, only to discover that the cops have them in cuffs already. ---
