AndâŚI think I decided to cancel that interview. Itâs justâŚsomething doesnât seem right. The instant phone call, the instant delete of the listing after I confirmed the interview. Then I found out theyâre another company and were using some likeâŚdummy site/name to use for recruiting people. I canât find any info about the company outside of directory listings and theyâve been around since 2011. Iâm just likeâŚtorn. Yeah, I need a job and I should just go and see what itâs like at the interview. ButâŚI just have a bad feeling about it, I just canât shake it âš

Squee!
Had to go into town to see jobcentre course people- a little cheesed off, as she apparently had sent multiple appointment letters, for different days (two of which she claimed were actually sent before I phoned the centre and asked them when I was supposed to be having an appointment, and was assured that no letters had been sent).
Someone has then complained to the jobcentre, which could get my benefits cut. Iâm also now wondering what other mail I didnât getâŚ
You do need to push with these guys, she was trying to send me on a really basic âcustomer service skillsâ course, which I really donât believe most employers I want to deal with would take seriously at all, but it took a _lot_ of persuading to get her to actually sign me up for a course a lot of adverts have been requesting, because she âdidnât think it would be useful for meâ. Gaaah. Anyway,
Anyway, me and the housemate went to the pub quiz last night, and actually came _third!_ We won something! Not the booby prize!

Sheesh, **Apes** , canât the kid at least smile for the camera?? đ Ya done good and sheâs adorable. I hope she doesnât become an annoying teenager too soon.
Itâs looking like some major weather is moving our way, so whatever we do in the deck today will probably be it till mid week next week. Guess I can take on some of the household chores Iâve been neglecting. Plus fun stuff like organizing and/or purging our files - I get tired of searching every time we need a document and my sweetie is good at this sort of organization, so weâll attack it together. I hopeâŚ
Daughter is coming to dinner tonight and weâre having quiche because I havenât made one in ages. Iâm actually going to make 2 because I like it leftover for breakfast.
Higgletâs crate wasnât properly locked last night and while I was getting dressed to let her out, she came charging into the bedroom. We need to double check her lockup procedures, lest we end up with her coming to sleep in our bed in the middle of the night.
Thus beginneth another day - Happy Thursday!!

Much blah here. Mr. Jynxsterâs car should be out of the repair place tomorrow. Only took 2 weeks to fix a bumper and passenger side turn light _eye roll_. Am thankful I am off tomorrow as we will have the remnents of Tropical Storm Andrea blast through most of the day. They did mention a slight possibility of tornados. My biggest fears are natural disastors and fire and me not being able to protect my kittehs. I shall try to stay safe and snuggly.

Good Morninâ Yâall! Up, caffienated, purtified, brekkied and at irk! We went to Pearlyâs this morninâ again. I had scrambled aigs, bacon, grits and a bizkit. YUM!
Todayâs weather forecast is once again gloom/doom/apocalypse. Did not happen yestiddy. Right now âtis 73 Amurrkin out and muggy. Also all cloudy. The predicted high is _ONLY_ 80 for the day. BRRRRRR! đ We also have a flash flood watch in effect until tomorrow morninâ due to the fact we could get up to eight inches of rain. Eight inches. Thatâs what she said!
I have an appointment at nine oâclock to get somebody signed up at a host agency for traininâ. Ifân itâs gonna storm âtwill happen then cause I forgot to bring an umbrella and donât have one in Twuck.
**TP** if it just does not feel right then I donât blame ya for not takinâ the interview. Does sound sorta :dubious:.

I am at irk, it is irksome. My co-irker had a day-surgery on Friday to remove a lump on her leg and had thought sheâd be back in the office this week. Now it turns out she is likely to be off for a couple of weeks longer than expected so I have been helping out with an event sheâd been working on for next week. There is another one the week after so I will probably end up sorting that out as well.
Things in my previous job are not going well either, the woman who took over from me and spent ages complaining that she had neither training nor support has now gone off sick at possibly the most crucial time of year. She will most likely not be allowed to go back to that post, which is a shame because the office is nice and the academics are lovely but they have had a very raw deal. I told one of her colleagues that they should never have got rid of the temp⌠đ
**Sticky** - well done on the run, shame the hips donât approve but perhaps they can be persuaded that itâs a good idea!
