Today downtown I saw a panhandler with a sign saying “Need $$$ for penis enlargement… I’m a little short.” :rolleyes:
I almost wanted to offer him money in return for taking his picture, but I thought people might find a picture a little off-colour.

If I did, I couldn’t upload it to Photobucket… they have rules about that. :eek:
There’s so much to look forward to at work next week and the week after. There’s going to be a theatrical event about the local neighbourhood of my workplace, and apparently they might hire me to take pictures of it. I’ll be playing my clarinet for some sort of event. There’s a special lunch on Wednesday, and I’ll make cookies for it. Then the following week there’s the Hawaiian barbecue.
I love my job.
Hmm, we have a “Workplace griping” thread. Too bad we don’t have a “workplace gushing” thread.
Though my work isn’t all hearts and flowers all the time. I screw things up regularly.:smack: Luckily everyone there is pretty nice.

Just got out of my audition about 15 minutes ago. Romance in F is such a great piece.
Also, I just uploaded a [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkCAkj1Hm8M&feature=youtube_gdata_player) of me doing a card trick a few hours ago called Jumping Gemini, popularized by Roy Raphaeli. I have to say, it looks much more improved than the videos I uploaded almost a year ago.
Also, it is raining so much here, I keep getting wet like every 15 minutes (we are out for my audition and
groceries), and got splashed…

Good evening everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t been around to check in with you all. Well technically I have but Harvest Moon has been consuming all of my free time pretty much.

Oh well done me- I’m supposed to be doing two things this weekend, helping out on a stall at the community orchard, and going to a friend’s leaving do picnic in the park. I’ve just realised I’m supposed to be at both of them at 2 o clock :smack:
Oh well, guess I’ll just have to show up late at the picnic. At least it’s gloriously sunny for the orchard open day this year, and I’m only down for an hour- last year I sat there by the gate in the rain for 4 hours, while virtually no-one showed up.

Goodness, it’s been a busy and productive morning. Dog has been tended to, cats’ box is scooped, watermaker is making water for the fishies, dishes have been loaded and are washing, teeth are properly brushed, and I’m caffeinating. I’m about to pop a slice of quiche into the microwave for a yummerrific breakfast. 😃
We’re going to a lumber yard in Annapolis today. The local pressure-treated stuff is not very nice, and to build our pergola from cedar would cost more than 3X as much as p-t. We’re hoping the Annapolis yard has better quality p-t for less than the cost of cedar. We’re hopeful enough that we’re going in the truck. After \*\*FCD \*\*gets his butt out of bed, of course.
According to the weather channel, there’s only one day (Weds) in the next week that doesn’t have any rain chance attached. I see a week of hot, humid, and soggy ahead. Today may be the last day with open windows. Dammit.

I thought it was Her F’ing Highness.
One more day of having to deal with Bronzer. I’m going to see if Squirrel will let me escape early since there will be three (3) people on the desk with two (2) computers at one (1) p.m. I’m sick and tired of training this chick, plus I’m just plain tired. Plus I didn’t get tickets to the show so I’m going to have to beat up people in the parking lot for their tickets. (Not really).
Heck with this. At least I’m going to see Rifftrax Live Kickstarter’s Choice: It Turned Out to Be _Starship Troopers_ Instead of \*Twilight \*in August. So there’s my entertainment for the month.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienated already even. ‘Tis 71 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 and sunny for the day. It rained some more last night apparently as outside is all wet plus it’s a little foggy. I need to mow da yahd but that might not be able to happen until late mornin’ when everything dries out. Also, I want, nay need, to get some pool time in. JDD and Partner are comin’ over around two this afternoon to hang at the pool. Later we shall grill steaks and have martini time. That’ll be nice. The four of us always have a good time when we get together.
I am, as I post, cleanin’ the coffee maker cause it was kinda ick. OYKW does not drink coffee so it’s not like I am deprivin’ him of a caffiene fix. He’s more of a cold caffiene person. Plus he’s still abed the slug. 😃
I shall go make some brekkie. I shall be evil and fry bacon. That’ll get him outta bed!
