Just finished my cooking for the week. I was going to go for a walk down by the ol’ duck pond but there is thunder a-boomin’ so I won’t. I’ll finish up the bag today and get my stuff together for a Major Cross-Stitch Project. If I get inspired, I may clean the Stately Manor. Or I might not.

Spent yesterday watching the not-quite-good-enough-yet folks. First the boys who can only turn left (NASCAR minor leagues), then a AAA baseball game in NE PA. Jr asked if we were in the middle of nowhere, my response was not quite, but it’s about 2 miles away. :rolleyes:
Remember that blind date from hell I had a few weeks ago? I was out, on foot, on the trail this morning when a woman on a bike going the other way calls out to me, it was the setuper. A few minutes later, a bike pulls up along side of me, it’s the setupee, they were riding together. They’re riding to breakfast & she invites me to join them. :eek: I declined.

FCM does she have to get it inspected if it’s sister to sister transfer?
Or maybe I am remembering if it’s family to family you don’t have to pay the sales tax?
**Swampy** I kind of like **Who?** too.
I calculated what Fridays check would be and decided to irk, even though I have a sore throat and want to sleep. I’m supposed to meet up with a pet sitting client sometime today as well but I may ask to reschedule until tomorrow. His dog is getting old and isn’t doing well so he wants to show me her new routine.
Had leftover pasta-laya for lunch. I added some minute rice and a pat of butter to it which soaked up some of the liquid and took away the saltiness.
I bought some BB cream yesterday and I love it. One of my friends tried it and loved it too. It goes on really easy, feels like silk and gives good coverage. I got _L’oreal_ which was on sale for $9, and we both got some CC cream by _Almay_ at 2 for $15. I like it better than the mineral makeup I’ve been using.
Tomorrow I fix my printer, and get the pictures printed so I can mail the announcements. I told my son if he doesn’t help more I am going to keep all the checks he gets and he said OK. :rolleyes: Check out my phone with _Best Buy_, it is charging but very very slowly and the screen keeps going blank. Email all the paperwork to the new broker, talk to my mother and see if she truly will help. Kick OAOASOs ass because he still hasn’t fixed the account, not that it will matter until tomorrow anyway. Deposit a check, find the $140 that is missing. I think I set it down when I was pulling out the pizza money the other day and didn’t put it back. I couldn’t find it yesterday and that is annoying. I know I didn’t spend it because I seldom use cash just so I can track my expenses.

Busy day, busy week, busy everything.
Yesterday, we went to part of the last day of my nephew’s first band camp. There was a parents’ meeting (my brother went to that while I went to find lunch), then a brief show so that we could see what everyone had learned all week. Quite impressive.
Then we met up with a friend for dinner before going to a concert.
Got home at midnight.
Haven’t retained what I’ve read, so I’ll just dole out **rosie’s** signature for now…

There is a local industrial park. I ride through it on the bus sometimes. It’s actually quite pretty, having lots of green space (lawns/trees/bushes.)
Mission to acquire the Mountain Dew succeeded. It’s orangey-flavoured. And it expires tomorrow, so I’d better drink it all today! and get too much of a caffeine high and have my heart go wonky again. Blarrgh. Whatever.
Seize the day.
Should get back to practicing the ukulele.

\*\*sari \*\*- according the the MVA clerk down here, the only family transfer you can do without inspection or tax is parent to child as long as both are at the same address. But my sis is getting a good deal anyway - she’s getting my car at least $2K under retail and $1K under private party sale price. And she does have to get it inspected.

**Rosie** what **Midget** said. One of each please. 😃 Ok, maybe not cause I am goin’ to meet OYKW at that place of epicurian delights known as Three Squares Diner in a little while.
I have meatloaf and death chikin all cooked. Go Me! I also steamed some squish, some parsnips and some green beans with new **N.O.T.** to use as vegetative matter this week. Other vegetative matter that may be required will get cooked as needed. A good thing to do on a rainy afternoon. I feel all productive.

I have finished the market bag. Now I’m about to start the Complicated Cross-Stitch.
For some reason, the box I keep my Aida cloth in stinks. I’m going to dump a box of baking soda in there and see if that helps. After I take out the two finished embroidered items and get them dry-cleaned and possibly framed. I’ve got so much embroidery needing framed it isn’t funny. Well, three things. That’s still ridiculous, especially considering one needs to be framed to match something else already framed.

Hey **Midget** I can’t post a link because I am on the stoopit tablet but check out _ukeninja1_ on youtube, he kills it. I just watched his version of Metallica’s Seek and Destroy. Awesomeness

Back from bein’ a world class gourmet. 😃 I had a patty melt and fries. OYKW had a burger and fries. Told him we were havin’ beastloaf tomorrow and he asked for steamed cabbage and mac ‘n cheese. So, I stopped at the sto’ and got a head of cabbage and some macaroni bein’ as there was none of either at da cave. What I do for that spoiled brat!
