Back at irk after 2 weeks vacay in London. I don’t mind being at work, it’s just that the real world is sooooo drab compared to the fantasy world of being in another country with nothing to do except visit cool places, eat, and have a drink in old pubs.

My mom and I are hoping to be doing a British Isles cruise next summer, and I’d like to include some touristy time in country before or after - I may be asking youse guys for suggestions and stuff.

I know I keep mentionin’ this, but here’s a good video about the [Food For A Thousand](http://www.walb.com/story/22494009/food-for-a-thousand) project. Hey, it’s from the local teevee station and surprisingly makes sense. That does not usually happen. Apparently their nonquality control is slippin’. 😃

Forgot to mention - my sis might buy my car from me. Hers is 7 years older than mine and a 2-door and a bit crowded for her and 3 doggies. I’ll cut her a deal and I won’t have to worry if her check is good. And I won’t have to deal with Craigslist. We shall see…
Meanwhile, the step supports are in and we quit just because. Tomorrow, we’ll level the frame, then install the rest of the joists and start the deck boards. I ordered [these](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003KZKI0Y/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=hi)to make bench/railings - we’ll have two six-foot benches along the high side of the deck. It’ll give me a place to put my laundry baskets! 😃 But not till after the pergola is done and installed.

Blocked in New Jersey, as well.
On an unrelated note, did you ever have one of those days when the only thing you can think about is it being over? Nothing has gone wrong, per se, but today is just interminable and I have had enough of this nonsense. I want to go home and read a book and maybe watch some cartoons because I’m a _grownup_, dammit.

Actually saw these guys as a bar band back in my salad days (what the heck does that even _mean_, anyway…?) Yeah, I was a metal head - whatcha want from an eighties teen anyway? 😃
Afternoon, all.
We have several colleges here that have very good graphic design programs. I’m not above dropping by and asking if some of the students would like to do a mini project for t-shirt design involving the aforementioned MMP subject matter. Typically, these things count as credit and only cost whatever the materials cost, as the students do the work free as part of their studies. I loves pre-interns! Heck, there may even be a few new Mumpers on the horizon.
Anyone care to flesh out some “broad stroke” design ideas? I have some ideas for the “I’m Nice, Dammit!” shirt…
