# I call shotgun!

“Shotgun” was alternately called “navigator” by my friends and me.  
“Bitch” is called that because, in a truck there’s a driver, his buddy by the passenger door, and between them the bitch, either the driver’s girlfriend or his dog.  
The kids growing up today won’t know what it’s like to fight for the front seat of the family roadster because it’s illegal for younguns to ride there. Another tradition bites the dust.
