First I tried rinsing it out with water which made it much much worse. Dabbed milk onto some paper towel and stuck that on the eye. Worked wonders. ---

Yeah, the casein in dairy binds to the capsaicin which causes the burn, and takes it away from tender flesh. I’ve advised patients to CAREFULLY do milk eye rinses in the past. Drop by drop. Then rinse further with saline eye drops ---
