C’mon, folks? Aren’t we dumb enough already? Haven’t we dumbed-down the largest media revolution in history to the point where it is nothing more than millions of terabytes of pron, inane blogs, spam, and greasy basement dwellers looking to cyber with other greasy basement dweller claiming to be 20 year old hotties? I can has break yet? Before I turn this over so that someone can post, “first!” and someone else can post, “I is in your pit, leeting up your thread,” let me ask: What is so goddam interesting about a fat, grey Russian cat asking for a cheeseburger? It isn’t edgy enough to be irreverent, and it certainly isn’t outright funny. It reminds me of the type of thing a 45 year old shut-in with 15 cats would tape to her refrigerator. It’s about as gut-bustingly funny as a Precious Moment statue. ---

[/QUOTE] The lolcatz-speak is certainly way overused, but lolcatz are goddamn funny, and I don’t even own any cats or have any special affection for them. It’s one of those love or hate things. OP hates them and doesn’t see the humor. I think they’re uproariously funny. YMMV. But no, you won’t catch me typing in lolcatz-speak. ---

I gotta agree with the OP. The final straw for me was seeing a thread in Cafe Society about Prison Break with an lolcatz style title. In the name of all that’s unholy… why? My solution is to boycott any thread with an lolcatz style title, even if it’s a thread started by a 20-something hot chick offering free sex. ---
