# I can speak! Thank you, honey-and-lemon-in-tea!

It’s really crazy. I’ve been sick the last few days and my voice has retreated as my other symptoms have worsened. At times, I’m unable to put together a whole sentence because my voice is too weak. However, every time I make myself a cup of tea, add honey and lemon, and drink it, I almost get my normal speaking ability back. It’s wonderful.

While I’m on the topic of home remedies, I also swear by gargling with saltwater to get rid of a sore throat. Even if it’s just a placebo, don’t tell me–I like how it works just fine, thanks :D.

Honey-and-lemon tea is wonderful, wonderful stuff. I can vouch that it’s certainly great for what ails ya. I’ve heard about the salt water gargle – isn’t that what singers use?
