# I can still smell onion on my fingertips

My sister asked that I make stuffing this year for Thanksgiving. My other sister got a 40 pound bird and she was worried it wouldn’t cook in time.

So, I made stuffing and it was a hit!

But, I still smell onion on my fingertips.

I think I ought to cook more. I really like the smell of onion versus plain 'ole human flesh.

Ah, I was going to suggest rubbing them against some stainless steel, like the sides or bottom of your kitchen sink, to banish the odor. I’m not a fan of that sulphurous bulb or smell, myself.

Even though you like it, there may come a time where you want to rid yourself of it.

I find that a rubbing a little water, dishwashing soap, and a pinch of sea salt in my hand will get rid of the smell. If you don’t have sea salt I’m sure regular salt will do.

lemon juice will get the smell off also.

Sea salt, or kosher salt rubbed on wet fingers then rinsed off will do it.

Also, lemon juice.

They both work for garlic too.

Yep. Farm raised. It was gigantic!
