# I can't believe I'd never heard of...

According to a radio program I just heard (no assurance of accuracy), there are more hotel rooms in Las Vegas than NYC.

Rome, Italy, [\*\* is farther north\*\*](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Island_%28Lake_Erie%29) than Lake Michigan’s Middle Island, Ont., as are 27 states, in whole or in part.
