Upset at the passing of Harold Ramis, on whom iIhad a huge school girl crush. Egon, gone too soon! I got an IM on Facebook from someone in Australia who apparently likes my school girl picture (something is wrong with that I think!), and wants to communicate with me via email. Okay, what else is wrong with this picture? Does this person troll (lol) through Facebook looking for gals? How can you possibly want to meet someone via email, when you live halfway around the world from them? Is this some new scam method? WTF??!! Was there someone else who got something similar recently on Facebook? ---

I remembered when I woke up that Iā€™m supposed to go to training today. I also remembered that I forgot to ask my boss where this training is being held. Iā€™ll text him in about half an hour - he should be up by then. Iā€™m not driving all the way to the office because Iā€™m pretty sure the training is way closer to me, and since the truck sucks a lot of gas, ainā€™t no way Iā€™m burning it up for nothing. šŸ˜› I think I may have woken Higgs this morning - my bladder demanded emptying about 4, and seconds later, I heard the scratching and whining, so I let her out. Amazingly, she came back in, snuggled next to me in bed, and went back to sleepā€¦ at least she did till Taz came in. But I was awake, thinking about this stoopit training. On the other hand, when itā€™s done, I think Iā€™ll just come back home - no sense in driving to the boonies for just 2 hours, right? Happy Tuesday!! ---

Good grief - I canā€™t get a simple straight answer from Psycho Bitch. :rolleyes: I called to ask her where the training is being held. She told me I didnā€™t RSVP so I canā€™t go. On Friday, our IT person asked me if I was going to attend and I told her I was, so yes, I RSVPā€™d. I just forgot to ask where itā€™s held - I know itā€™s in the California office, but there are several buildings and Iā€™d like to go to the correct one. Anyway, Psycho Bitch told me I had to call the boss. I did. He didnā€™t answer - Iā€™m wondering if his phone is out of order? Shortly, Iā€™ll try calling the next boss up the line - Iā€™m not sure when she gets to work, but I hope itā€™s around 7. Why am I doing this again?? _\_ ---

Happy Toosday! Itā€™s 31 degrees outside and snowing, or maybe flurrying is a better word. Today is pizza day, laundry day, and I have no clue what I am going to do today day. The mortgage company says I need to find out how much the repairs will cost before I make an offer, HamePath says first I make an offer and then find out the costs. The problem, if I overestimate the mortgage company wonā€™t approve and if I underestimate I may not have enough money. I need to get a contractor out there today and Iā€™ve called half a dozen and the only one who called me back only does roofs (or is it rooves?). The inspector can meet me tomorrow, will cost $375 and can tell me what work _needs_ to be done, but he canā€™t write the estimate as the contractor because that is a conflict of interest. The mortgage company wants to see an estimate by the contractor who is actually going to do the work, not an estimate from the inspector. All this has to be done by Thursday because then the property becomes available for investors who tend to jump on these things like stink on shit. It doesnā€™t help that I live 90 minutes away from Hagerstown. Itā€™s not like a 5 minute drive to the other side of town. I wish my uncle or ex-bil were still in the business but they are both retired. One a good note, last night I got the dreaded _blue-screen-of-death_ and fixed it myself this morning. I tried multiple times last night and thought for sure Iā€™d be paying for a repair, but no, I found some good instructions online using my tablet and got it done. Congrats **Rosie** on the new car. **Swampy** , when I was growing up Firday night was clean out the fridge night and it was a family favorite, except when everybody wanted the leftover spaghetti. Then my parents got a microwave and the leftovers never made it until Firday. ---

Afternoon, mumpers! Life in the probation service is not much funā€¦yesterday we got sent home early because some numptie cut a very important bit of cable and none of the network stuff would connect. This morning the engineer was on site at 9.30am, left at 10am and said it wasnā€™t going to be fixed all day. The other temp and I were sent home at 11am - not bad, bonus time off is always good but since Iā€™m on an hourly rate, it means I will only get paid for 2hrs today instead of the expected 7.5hrs. And Iā€™m already enough of a pauper, thank you very much. Nice new wheels, rosie, I hope you get many happy miles out of your new ride! So, I am home early, I have nothing to do for a couple of hours, thus I shall treat myself to a nice long soaky bath before I go out later. ---
